We are seeking a talented Circuit Engineer to contribute to our LiDAR system design and development. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team of engineers that have diverse expertise in light sources, beam delivery, light collection, photodetector, embedded system, and software to create market-leading LiDAR systems. The position requires an understanding of PCB design, benchtop testing, board-level assembly and packaging.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, prototype, and assemble PCB boards
- Design board-level modules for packaging, including connectors, wiring harnesses, power management, and mechanical co-design for mounting and enclosure
- Evaluate capabilities and limitations of PCB manufacturing vendors
- Assist in the mixed signal ASIC design, layout, and test
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with PCB design and benchtop testing
- Skilled in hand assembly / soldering of SMT circuit boards
- Experience with electronic system thermal and power management
- Experience with electronic packaging techniques such as wire bonding, flip-chip, and BGA

- Experience with opto-electronic module assembly and implementation
- Experience with lab equipment automaton and remote control
- Experience with digital logic and FPGA/CPLD driven system designs
