Embedded System Engineer

We are seeking a talented Embedded System Engineer to contribute to our LiDAR system design and development. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team of engineers that have diverse expertise in light sources, beam delivery, light collection, photodetector, embedded system, and software to create market-leading LiDAR systems. The position requires understanding of modern embedded chip architectures and experiences in high-performance real-time data acquisition and processing algorithms on embedded system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead a team of engineers to develop embedded systems that implement high-performance real-time data acquisition and processing algorithms
    • Conduct system modeling and analysis
    • Document system performance, efficiency, and scalability
    • Develop subsystem-level specifications for next-generation products
    • Design new embedded systems that meet the subsystem-level specifications

REQUIREMENTS:

    • MS degree or equivalent in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
    • Comprehensive understanding of modern embedded chip architectures
    • 5+ years of embedded system design and analysis experience
    • Experience in implementing real-time data acquisition and data processing algorithms on embedded systems
    • Experience in the deployment of high-performance embedded systems

BONUS POINTS:

    • Experience with open source libraries such as OpenCV
    • Experience with ASIC and FPGA
    • Experience with GPGPU programming
    • Knowledge of deep learning algorithms
